Classic Advice From Classic Lady

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness...
For lovely eyes, seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his/her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with knowledge that you never walk alone.

People, even more than things, have to be restored, renewed, revived, reclaimed, and redeemed; never throw out anyone.

Remember, if you ever need a helping hand, you will find one at the end of each of your arms. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands; one for helping yourself, and the other for helping others.

thanks for sharing that, Victoria. Since Audrey Hepburn was not only beautiful, but successful, I think we can believe that her advise is sound.

I think so. I also like her last bit of advice. I don't take it as a "women's lib" thing, but rather a reminder that you are ultimetly responsible for yourself and people are around to help - but the mentality that you should develop and create is that you're not around to get help from people (which there is nothing wrong with that...it's just the mind set I'm reffering to) but rather you are to remove yourself from the common "victimization" that people put themselves under and creat your own results. Another great quote I've heard is that " if you're not getting the results you want, create them." I agree. If it is in God's will - he will either cause or allow something to happen, but not usually without some (and sometimes alot) of effort on your part.

....I think I'm going to have to look Audrey Hepburn up to learn some more about her. She's intriguing.

See ya on Saturday night. (Michael won't be able to get of work until 6 so we'll be out there after that...probably 7:30. Don't wait for us to eat - we'll eat when we get there.)
